CarSignalKnow a shop that should be on CarSignal? Invite them and get paid once they stick around.
How it works
- Open Settings, Account, and find the Refer a shop card. Type your friend's email and hit Send invite. We clear their email for signup and send them a link with your code already attached. Nothing for them to copy or type.
- The shop signs up. Your code attaches to their account automatically. (They can also enter your code when booking a demo.)
- The shop stays on CarSignal for one month.
- CarSignal pays you $500 in cash.
Track your referrals
The Refer a shop card shows every referral and where it stands: invite sent → signed up → first month → paid. The moment you send an invite it appears here as "awaiting signup," so nothing gets lost.
The details
- It is a flat $500 per successful referral, no tiers, no percentage math, no cap on how many shops you can refer.
- The referred shop has to be a real customer: the reward unlocks after they have been on CarSignal for a month, not merely on signup.
- A shop that signs up and quits before its first month is up does not trigger a payout.
- You also have a personal link (
trycarsignal.com/r/YOURCODE) on the same card for handing to someone in person. The email invite is the better path: it clears their email for signup and shows up in your tracker immediately. - Payouts are cash, handled by the CarSignal team.
Not on CarSignal? You can still refer
Anyone can refer at trycarsignal.com/refer: mechanics, service writers, vendors, friends of the owner. Enter your name and email and you get a personal referral code (plus a trycarsignal.com/demo?ref=YOURCODE link). Give it to the shop; they enter the code when they book a demo, or your link fills it in for them. The same $500 pays once the referred shop completes its first month. Lost your code? Re-enter your email on the same page and it comes back.
